Civic 2006 Brakes -Novelties

So I have to draw a line now. Why everyone says that the Honda Civic FK (2006) has soooooo bad brakes. After having read the first thread, how the brakes can brake so badly from a new car. I had to teach myself through a test drive of a better one. The test drive is already some time back but I found the brakes in this great, one of the best I was ever allowed to kick. I guessed myself now at my Honda dealer Most tests of the brakes of the Honda Civic are based on test drives, so we are on the way to the big problem. When testing, the vehicles usually stand for longer time, the brake discs show after some time, if not use corrosion. Brake discs rust, belay themselves just like the brake pads they solidify and are usually brittle. Then the brakes are tested equally fully during the next test drive, since with it is probably understandable why some have made a bad experience with the brakes, among other things, are not taken into consideration in demonstration cars also the important entry time of the brakes. Excerpt from the ADAC test: —————– Brake Note: 0,7 + The brake is unsurpassed in this class: only 35 m with full braking from 100 km/h to standstill (mean from 10 measurements, half load, standard tires). In the case of the test car that I drove, which is also used daily (company car). I found the brakes great, pleasant to dose well, using forcefully at full braking. I can only confirm the braking at 100km/h with 35 meters or better, I needed almost 32.5 meters from 100km/h to 0km/h. This is really unbeatable for me in this class. Tests from me were very good. – Someone’s crying again. Greaz Starcommander
