Hello together, have a question about a glass damage now occurred and the insurance handling. Short history: On 24.12. of the previous year my loyal companion – Ford Mondeo Bj.95 – blessed the temporal, I stopped at night on the BAB with engine damage and had to be towed off. A month before I had to replace the windshield with the following crack after rockfall in the upper margin. Now I have – because I need a second car for the daily commuting – an old golf added, which was admitted on 30.12. with cover card of my previous insurance. I did not receive the forms for the application of the insurance incl. partial cascade until yesterday, therefore I had requested this from my insurance broker. Unfortunately I discovered yesterday also two cracks in the front window of the new old car, these were caused by a stonefall in the lower area of the Disc below the wiper, impact hole is clearly visible. Now my question: Since the cracks are already spreading (both about 10 cm long) I would like to have the disk replaced immediately, but must wait for the policy. Can I assume that the damage control will run smoothly or I have to adjust myself to problems, because 1. the insurance will possibly question the time of entry and possibly assume that the damage will occur. before the policy has occurred 2. I had to have the disk replaced recently on the predecessor I would like to emphasize very clearly that the damage really only occurred these days, I would have noticed a pre-damage, because one of the two cracks is directly in the area of the fine dust badge, which I had to change. Furthermore, I would certainly not have taken over the vehicle with damage, but insisted on repairing, because with the repair the TK SB of 150 EU I would also like to continue the same conditions as for the previous vehicle, i.e. again TK with SB150 (SB 0 is not possible in this tariff). If my broker had sent me the forms for the policy after the registration (30.12.) I would have received the policy certainly already, so I do not want to allow myself to get the delay. In the cold season stonefalls with folly occur more often, so that the insurance has no doubt at all or Do I have to adjust to problems? Thank you in advance for your opinions
