Hello! I would have a question… The air conditioning (Climatronic) in my Octavia 1U was switched off for quite a year now. The reason was a leak in the climate condensator. I have changed this now (including dryer). My question now: How do I best go about putting the system back into operation? My mechanic only has a filling device there with which he could fill the system normally. And then I could just turn on the air conditioning in the car. Achster Weg. Do I have to go to the specialist plant for this? What about the oil that should lubricate the bearings of the compressor? Does that have to be filled in extra? And then because of the compressor: could be that the bearings are a little tight now, after a year. There would be good to turn it slowly and loosen it.
