Hello, dear community! Even though my Contis are not even a year old and have only 11,000km down, I have thought of switching to “Vredestein Sportrac 3” this year. Economically speaking, this makes no sense, of course, above all, since I am actually completely satisfied with the “Conti Premium Contact 2” so far. However, I have to honestly admit that I have simply fallen in love with the look of the Sportrac 3. The flaps as 195 on my little girl n, that would be something. However, it is the case that my Contis are not exactly among the cheaper and worse tyres. Therefore, the question arises to me, which of you has already had experience with the Sportrac 3. Will also be a good replacement for my current Premium Contact 2. I am grateful about every experience. What makes me a bit stunned by the way: In the summer tire test 2011 the “Vredestein Sportrac 3” emerged as a test winner and the wear was rated with the grade 1.5 (in the dimension 195/65R15). In the summer tyre test 2012 however, by a rating for wear with 2.8 in the midfield was devalued. In 2012 it was tested in the dimension 215/65R16, but it is still the same tire. Can there be any reason for this or did Vredestein not want to pay any more? As I said above all your experience with driving behaviour (ground adhesion), rolling noise and veiling interest me ß. PS: At the moment I drive the Contis in 185/55R16 on 6Jx16. However, the Sportrac 3 does not exist exactly in this dimension. The closest would be 195/55R16. Do these technically also fit on my rims? Any safety-relevant concerns? Since I absolutely want to have the tyres, I give a damp dirt on the registered approval. I only care about the purely technical possibility. At HU then is driven with the winter tires.
