Hello dear truck community, I have signed up here to gain some new experience in the operation of our trucks and possibly also to change my behaviour towards the workshops. We are a small medium-sized company and deliver wood burning to our customers with our trucks (MAN and Steyr). Both trucks are so-called cobi-tippers, you can transport pellets loosely and blow in but also bring pallet goods to the customer. We say The vehicles are needed and are maintained due to the special construction. The overrun of these trucks became necessary, because our business has developed more right than Schlecht. However, I am “only” woodworm and screaming table thug and have little idea of the technology. I try to change this again and again, but at the end of the day one only deals with it when there is a repair. Bishhe r I have relied on my workshop, which has at least always repaired the vehicles again, so that I could drive quickly again. Unfortunately, I also have the fear that always quite quickly parts are replaced, which may only need intensive care or sometimes should be replaced by something used. It always goes quite quickly to the workshop, hours are written, parts changed and the bill written. A control of my own my questions to the community are: How do you travel with your workshop as a freight forwarder? Do you prefer to quickly return to the road or wait for an offer? How can you put pressure on a workshop? (Procuring parts yourself, helping drivers, etc.) Do you just have to do the most necessary things or are workshops ready to meet one when a service/maintenance contract is concluded? For some people, the strange thing is that you can’t afford to do it. I am looking forward to hearing from you Many greetings to Christian
