R230 – Alarm system spins / undervoltage

Dear community, since I have already collected some tips from you, I would like to post my experience today: For 2-3 months I had the well-known problem of undervoltage and the associated shutdown of the comfort functions… For a few weeks it has been added that the alarm system often asked for attention without external influences… This went so far that I no longer finished the vehicle of the neighbors to love;-) Then change the r Comfort battery with the hope to have peace now! But my feeling should be right: did I have undervoltage because the alarm system sucks the battery empty or does the alarm system go because of undervoltage? Yes, the chicken and the egg! And promptly: Again gel intestines… In an American forum someone had expressed similar problems with the indication that the siren internal buffer battery was defective! So: My evening was planned: to expand siren (somewhere else described here: behind Kotflü gel cover left, wheel down…)! With earplug disassembly of the siren.. subsequent sawing up (sh… plastic housing) brought certainty: Two expired NiMH batteries, which certainly do not positively affect both electronics and board chemical-nagender way! Since it will definitely hit everyone here sometime (the life of these batteries is now systemimmanent limited) – hope to be able to help someone with this… Add a few more photos! Oh yes: R230 Bj 2005 Greetings Tissa
