Claims of my car insurance after accident of daughter

Hello, I have a problem with my car insurance: My daughter had a small car that was registered on me and she was co-insured. In February she unfortunately had an accident under the influence of alcohol and a street lighting mast. Now the insurance came to me and accuses me of gross negligence, although I was not there. The lantern costs soft 4200€. But the insurance wants to have from me 250€, because they do not pay everything, because of the alcohol. h Objection from me because of gross negligence, came today the letter from the insurance company, showing that you had sent the letter by mistake to me and now want to have her request from my daughter. Question: Can the insurance company do this at all?? daughter has court hearing next Wednesday and there is also a fine on her. (rightly so, if man is drunk driving). She starts an apprenticeship in August and lives for rent. Thank you for your answers Greetings Frank
