Good evening dear community, I am looking for a suitable family car because of the arrival of my twins soon. We will drive about 12,000 km per year. Mostly highway but certainly also a few short distances. I would like to have a seat heating and air conditioning system on equipment. As an original budget I once targeted 800€. If it makes a big difference I would also be willing to spend up to a maximum of 10,000€. I have to pay e last few days a bit looked what I like so much and have closed the ford focus a bit into the heart from 2015 but am unsure if there are two child seats in the back fit in perspective. I am 1.96 tall and my wife 1.75. Accordingly, probably some direction Octavia or Passat would be more appropriate from the size? I found the following car around the corner: I found this offer at mobile.de:https://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… Skoda Octavia Kombi Xenon Navi Isofix First registration: 01/2013 Kilometer: 117,500 km Fuel type: Diesel, biodiesel suitable Price: 8.750 € At the date of the first registration, however, the “diesel scandal” comes directly into my head. Is the engine affected? Can one buy such a car without hesitation or should one leave the fingers of it in general? The dealer would still have an Astra standing which I find quite chic but which is first priced at the pain limit and also there I am Do you have any information about octavia? Is it generally a stupid idea to look for a diesel with the driving profile at all? Currently no diesel driving ban applies to my excursion destinations… Thank you very much for your help! LG Sven
