Hi guys, I have renovated my trailer over the winter time. Since I did not like the rusty steel rims anymore, I bought and mounted a pair of aluminium rims (complete wheels) used. Here is a photo of the finished project. The tyre size is already registered. The aluminium rims have fit perfectly from the hole circle and diameter, however, during the assembly I found that the rim was standing on the inside of the axle. That happens if you are looking for So I got 5mm thick track plates and longer screws, now everything fits. The tires are also covered by the fenders just like that. For the track plates I have an ABE, but for a VW Golf and not for a trailer. The aluminium rims are from DEZENT, I have no papers. Data: Manufacturer: Westfalia Permissible total weight: 900 kg Tyre size: 175/70 R13 Now the TÜV is due. Before I embarrass myself there I wanted to ask you what I should be paying attention to so that the TÜV uncle could take it off. Is there any experience with such a thing?
