Hello, yesterday I changed from my “Michelin Pilot Sport Alpin” winter tires to my “Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S” summer tires and now notice the enormous difference between the two tires. And this is not about the performance but about stone throw! The PS4s feels every little stone on the road and throws it into the wheel box, under the vehicle and on the sides (tires are standing out at the M8 over the car bodies). That sounds terrible not only because it’s not only about The PS4s are now 4 years old and would still keep the current season from the profile depth. Now I think about changing the tires earlier, but what would be the alternative and are not all UHP tyres similar? Or should I take the PS4s again and it is only because they are already older or run off or the temperature (today he was at 15 degrees, yesterday at 35 degrees) doesn’t fit? Tyre pressure around at 3 bar. Visually, I see not only in the profile but mainly in the rubber that the little stones settle. As if the rubber was quite soft. Vehicle is only used on normal roads and highways. 275/35 R20 Y + 285/35 R20 Y would be my dimension. As an alternative would be: – Pirelli P Zero PZ4 or the new Corsa PZC4 – Good Year Eagle F1 SuperSport – Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT What do the professionals in the tire business think about it? Experiences?
