Hello together, I urgently need tips on changing the window lifter engine. I tried yesterday to change my wife’s MINI window lifter engine on the passenger’s side and have desperately stopped after 2 hours. The problem is that the engine is defective and the side window is closed, so at the very top. In my clever book (How do I help myself or the like) the exchange is actually well described, but one assumes there from a condition for which no solution can be found. So I have to remove the side panel first, in order to then move the guide rail and dismantle the motor. So far I have only loosened all the screws from the engine and uncliped the ropes. The motor can be moved easily, but seems to be “upside” still mounted somewhere. I have not yet removed the disc, because on the one hand I could not release the “underlay discs” in the door slot with “simple force” and on the other hand because of the “fixed” Henden Motors” is not able to lower the disc to the size 220 mm in order to be able to remove the washers and everything else. Does anyone have a tip on how to remove the disc? In a BMW guide it is still necessary to separate the motor with “special tool” from the mounting plate. Is this possible with normal tool? It would be really very friendly if someone could give me a couple of tips!!!! Thank you in advance Frank
