The MAN TGL8180 (built in 2008; weight 7.5t) has an average consumption of 17-19 l/100km, i.e. about 23 euros (net) Diesel costs per 100km The last inspection (total approx. 11,000km; 6,000km after first service) resulted in repair costs of almost 2000 euros, and therefore my question whether there are experiences/opinions about it. Although only 6,000km since the last oil change was carried out again, costs 287,- excl. value added tax !! Although almost 2 years old, the batteries became g test, distilled water is added and then replaced, although there were NIE start difficulties (functioned electrically excellent, and started before this service easier and faster than after). Costs 558,- excl. tax (of which 260,- for the batteries, rest of work) warranty is obviously not available on MAN batteries after one year. More: change ÖL rear axle (after 11,000km??): Euro 122,— air dryer and air filter cartridges change Euro 184,— side marking lights (the Euro 224,- Total with Decra/TÜV and VAT almost 2000 Euro. In sum 0,30 to 0,40 Euro/Kilometer only for service costs, much higher than the fuel costs. Must be calculated with such high service costs at the TGL8180 or are there other experience values (with low annual mileage) ? Bzw one can expand the oil change to 2-3 years ? VIELEN DANK FOR EVERY NOTE/INFOS !!
