GPZ 600 R in the workshop

Hello, my old sweetheart has just brought to the workshop. To calm down, because I will be on vacation next week. I said at the phone that the carburetors would have to be synchronized. When the engine is warm, it runs great. Did a tour of about 300 km the day before yesterday, was totally enthusiastic. Then thought to me, the tour did the machine well, but today it has started again only laboriously and the extreme flapping and clacking and unround running in the cold condition is still there. The head of the Kawa workshop started my moped and only said: claps but quite nicely… then he has “synchronize carburetors” and “adjust valves” noted. He reports when it is finished or should find something “extraordinary”. Really hope that he doesn’t hit me over the ear, because I didn’t exactly have a good feeling… What does it mean to you: what does the synchronizing of the carbures and valves do? Does the engine seem to be quiet then? Do you have a good idea of it?
