All-wheel steering in the Renault and BMW, Saab ReAxs and the German engine press

Hello everyone, I just read a report on the new Renault Laguna GT on SPIEGEL ONLINE. A “new” all-wheel steering system in Laguna is rated as a new non-plusultra for driving fun and dynamics. The last half of the report is about how this system is to be introduced “better” at the 7 BMW soon, because “German” etc. Isn’t that an old hat? Can someone explain the difference between this “new” system and the Saab ReAxs in the 9-3 Is there any difference at all? Or can one seriously assume that the German engine press really manages to praise such a system later on at BMW and Konsorten to the sky, although it had already been installed on Renault and much earlier on Saab? Many greetings, nibohr
