A happy “hello” in the round! 66,600 km and the clutch slips. Repair around 700 EUR, Subaru takes over 50%. Yes, if my car had been out of the five-year warranty and had run 266,600 km, then I would have felt the 50% as extremely generous, because after such a mileage the replacement of a clutch would have been fine and I would not have really expected a subsidy. But now seriously: 66,600 km and the clutch is gone? Hey, I’m driving t 1982 car and have brought some cars to 300,000 km, but I changed a clutch in time only on my first vehicle (VW Beetle 1200 L, 25 kw/34 hp) and that at 220,000 km. Since then I also drive with trailer operation, but clutch rush? Never again. So I claim that it can probably be rather less due to my driving style! So overall I am really satisfied with the Forester, but this clutch somehow made me think. h was dimensioned. I only hope that this new clutch is more resistant than the old one. Oh yes, in this context I probably also got a software update, because since then the Fori is somehow less splashy, needs 0.2 liters more diesel, but runs quieter overall from the engine. Be interviewing my friendly times about this at the next service. Have a nice day! TomCat64
