Hi, my 9-5 AERO is as some know are Wednesday at the dealer for oil bath cleaning. Yesterday evening the nice master called me to give me an interim report. As a little history: My engine sounded very sniffy in the cold state, only when it was really warm he clapped quite a lot….like a diesel or something. Report from the master: “I have 2 good news for you” 1.The oil tank was flashy, no oil sludge or other foreign body. 2.This e Work was still necessary and saved you! DEN: the seals of the oil sieve were broken (from the “pump” pipe or as it is called) These had become totally hard and crumbled. (engine has 80 000km !) Thus my AERO has built in warm condition too little oil pressure! What this would have meant on a proper highway ride everyone can think. I recommend again to everyone: let your oil pans “open” ! MfG
