On 01.04.05 (no April joke ) in our newspaper read about a recall action of Yamaha: It reads: “Because of possible problems with the attachment of the passenger seat, Yamaha calls numerous motorcycles into the workshops! According to Yamaha Deut. it is about the types XV 125, XV 250, XVS 650, XVS 650 A, XVS 1100 and XVS 1100 A! In some versions, it cannot be excluded that the passenger seat dissolves and the Sozius falls!” Call to my dealer or Yamaha Germany, this was confirmed, but it said, there are still notifications sent to the respective owners! This has not been done until today!!! Furthermore, I have to say that my dealer, but also the employees of the German Niderlassung, were again very unfriendly, yes really patzig !!!
