Hello everybody, I’m new here and I came across this forum because I want to buy my wife and I a new car in the next few months. So far I had a Skoda Fabia first-class station wagon with the lowest PS and without any special equipment. I bought the Skoda from my brother 4 years ago and it now has after 11 years only 50,000 km on the hump. Reason for this is that it actually only for short distances up to now (6 km per direction) Nevertheless we will not get much money for it. Since we have moved to the city (Salzburg, i.e. buy the car in Austria) and we have to use the car more often in the future, we are just looking for a suitable car for us. We will drive in the future about 1000 km per month (if that helps or makes a difference for your tips). I have asked myself and would be interesting for us the Seat Leon Kombi, the VW Golf Kombi or the Skoda Octavia Kombi, or do you still have a special tip? The price should be between 20,000-25,000 € at most. Of course, cheaper requirements are: it should be a Kombi, preferably with large luggage compartment (possibly a mountain bike place should have), because we want to start a family, should of course then have a stroller in trunk, it should also be suitable for child seat, if possible economical fuel consumption and safety is also very important to us.
