Hello, after you helped me with my last question so good and friendly (thanks again to everyone!!!), I am so free and want to know something again: This time it’s about braking in Formula 1: I would have liked the following questions: 1. Is 2008 still the adjustment possibility of the brake balance allowed by the pilot via (turn) lever in the cockpit? Found this at the FIA (formula 1 rules): 11.1.3 “Any powered device which is capable of altering the configuration or affecting the performance Does this mean that no more brake balance adjustment is allowed? 2. How is a Formula 1 brake designed exactly? (that the discs and pads are made of carbon, I think to know)? 3. What does braking actually do in an F1 car? The driver pushes to the pedal with about 120 kg…and then? I’m always grateful for every input.
