Hello first of all to me: I am 18 years young and have my driver’s license a little over 1 year (BF17). Car insurance runs through my father, but I pay everything myself (Azubi). Currently I drive a Golf III 1.9 TDI Variant with 90 HP (taken over by the parents). For this I now look for replacement (due to red badge, too big, taxes quite expensive). I drive in the week 3x 30km to work and 2x 70km to the vocational school (simple ride, thus 460km a week). I think it should continue to be a diesel. Now to my approximate ideas: – max. 500€ Purchase cost – green badge – should be a 4/5 doorr – at best compact car (Limousine) – diesel I leave you in terms of mileage and age. It is planned that I would like to drive the car 5+ years, whereby I should already be finished with the training in the middle/end of next year and therefore I no longer have to drive to the vocational school (but for that to work What I myself have spontaneously considered is the Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi from the year 2006.
