Hello everyone, now it happened today on a return trip on the highway in the dark during rain – I touched a beacon with the outside mirror, the right outside mirror was damaged (outside cover was off, mirror hung down on cables, mirror housing remained optically intact, main functions were apparently ok after again plugging on the mirror, but still had to continue for 2 hours in the rain, no idea where the water got everywhere…) and a approx. 5cm long, 1-2mm wide scratches in the side window. My question now to you: I have a comprehensive one, am in Ö home, would it be better to handle this damage over all-round or as parking damage/foreign debt? With the comprehensive one I would probably rise in the BoMa level / premium… how would you handle this? I guess that such an outside mirror (spur change warning, surround view, foldable, seat memory etc) quickly sums up on a workshop bill of 2,000 euros? can one possibly polish out the scratch? Oh yes – please only for constructive answers and if possible no instructions on the legal assessment of such questions, thank you already in advance! Greeting bmok
