Hello dear SL driver, with my 500 SL (EZ 5/93, 129.067) a snoring on the front axle occurs on cold days on the right, for which the friendly of MB blames the carrying joint – the rare phenomenon of a proper diagnosis. The hacking at the thing: while such a joint usually costs about 20-40 EUR, here must be re-enacted the complete cross handlebar (best on both sides), which is about with 1200 eurons to be charged. Is that really true ? I ha I would often feel that I would have to fill the empty workshop yard of my friend. The 20 liter consumption is enough already. Greetings Jo
