Hello, I wanted to be quite clever after my recent liability damage and choose an SV for myself. Unfortunately, only the lawyer got me the idea that my choice of an expert chain, which lives 90% of the German insurance industry, was not quite so clever. Well. It is a more violent parkrempler, bumper, a rear light and a corner of the fender are loaded. My car Skoda Octavia, list 28T€, 8 months and 8TKM old. Repair costs according to SV 2400 € gross. I now notice the following in the report that I have of course looked particularly critical: 1 No replacement value Reason: “The determination of the replacement value has not taken place taking into account the difference between the estimated repair costs and the range of the replacement value.” So, despite LK Deutsch, I don’t understand that. Do I have a claim that the replacement value is determined? 2 Missing parts D yesterday’s visit to a contract workshop revealed that two first parts were simply missing/forgotten. Does the SV have a right of improvement or is it enough to challenge and ignore the report? 3 Impairment This was set with “value reduction tax-neutral 400,00”. That is, if I place my car next to an absolutely equivalent, but without accident, then enough 400€ to convince a buyer to take mine. I find this ridiculous and , no, I don’t want to “enrich” myself. If I understand this correctly, I can’t really challenge this kind of independent opinion formation. 4 Traffic safety The report says “The vehicle is not traffic-proof.” nevertheless, the man let me drive with it from the yard. So, I think that’s quite strange. The lawyer doesn’t really have an opinion about this. I would like to get a second report. At least a repair of this.
