Appraisal assesses the comprehensive damage

With my current vehicle there is a suspicion that it is an economic total damage. The vehicle is about 10 months old and has run about 11500 km. Now my insurance company has commissioned its own expert. I do not like in any way!!!! During the damage assessment I was present and came to the conclusion that this expert may not have covered hidden damages. Another point of dispute was the fixing of the workshop hour. For the calculation the workshop hourly wages of the free workshops should be used. A brand workshop can be significantly higher. For me it would mean: The report is not correct. The total damage will be smaller. Under certain circumstances it will no longer be a total damage. If the damage in a brand workshop is repaired the damage would be significantly higher again. If then a total damage is possible again. However, I have nothing of that. Background: I don’t want to have the vehicle repaired. The higher the damage or a total damage would be very pleasant to me. There should be as small a residual value as possible on the vehicle. I wanted to invest the entire amount of damage in a new vehicle. Then the VAT will also be paid. Even if the vehicle is not repaired. On the other hand, the insurance expert cannot prescribe the repair shop. In addition, he would have to use a flat rate for hidden defects. What kind of legal leeway do I have? Has anyone already gained any experience with such reports.
