Hello together, now I’ve been looking in several forums but somehow I’m not sure what’s right now. It’s about the following, I’m proud owner of a Sportster1200 Custom, year 1997, mileage26,500km. The bike is in perfect condition. I’ve read now that the Sporty needs some time to get to operating temperature, so what I’ve read about 20-25 kilometers. Since I would like to use my Sporty for the work path I’m not sure about whether it hurts her or not. The working distance is 7km, the engine is so sensitive that it is not possible to complete such short distances, even if I of course only ride it very moderately and not directly overcharged the engine with high speeds!? It would be very nice if I got helpful answers because I would like to have a lot of joy in and with my Sporty. I thank you in advance for your help! Greeting Olli
