Self-construction / change of lighting

Hello! I didn’t find a suitable forum, and because lighting has a safety aspect, I try it here. I don’t know God is the biggest tuning freak, yet I’m interested in the topic of lighting. Reason: With my Subaru Forester the front lighting is rather mediocre and the rear lights don’t like me. It’s difficult to change something about this, because the vehicle is rarely driven in Germany and the aftermarket therefore doesn’t give anything. 1.) Self-construction of front and rear lights by means of light modules from HELLA in a self-built vehicle-specific recording. The mentioned light modules have an E-test number. Now my question: What requirements are there for the approval of such a self-construction? Is a single acceptance sufficient or even a light-technical report to be prepared? Or is that not possible? 2.) The cheap variant: In order to change the appearance something positive, the I What would be, however, if one did not blacken the illuminating area, but only one area on the side of the headlight and thus did not affect the actual lighting (it is the so-called “Lexus-style” rear lights of the 2006 model, they have internal reflectors and a clear glass cover; the adhesive would be at an angle >=90° to the main beam Is it nice to have someone there with advice.
