Hello, I have heard from my specialist workshop that wider tyres would have been the cause of a defect of the steering gear (reversible lever and steering gear arm). As standard my car (Mitsubishi Pajero Sport) has 245/70 tyres. In summer I drive 255/55. Driving performance: 35,000 km. The repair cost roundabout 230 EUR. No warranty, no culant. Would have liked to have heard a few experiences. Is that correct and must be reckoned with? At what intervals should one use it Do you have comparable experiences? What else do you have to reckon with? LuBerti
