How much do “5 stars” at Euro-NCAP say in reality? Only three infallible scenarios are being investigated (delayed frontal crash, side crash and pile crash when driving in a mast).What about overrun, tail impact ect… Can I be safer to drive in a 4 star car (a la volvo) than in a 5 star car (a la Renault, Citroen…)? What is the reason why Volvo can’t drive a 5 star result in both crash tests (US and EU) like Mercedes in the E? Is it not possible? Is a 4 star car suddenly a “risk of death” because there are cars that have one star more? Are there any high-speed crash tests? So with highway demo or at least 80 – 90 km/h?
