Hi guys, I was just looking around on the official website of Hyundai and I looked at the models Tucson and Santa Fe a little bit more closely to compare them. Since the Santa Fe is in the basic equipment about 10,000€ above the Tucson, I was a little surprised when I saw that both of them are almost the same in the performance specification. But now I noticed something that I can only see as an attempt to deceive the Tucson. The information that can be taken from the same graphic, which is available for almost every model on the website, is given in kW by the Santa Fe, as it is common today – but in PS by the Tucson! Thus, it is first suggested that the Tucson has more than a third more power than it actually has. On the website, otherwise almost all models have the indication also in kW. Since I felt a bit silly now, because otherwise what intention should be behind this deviation of the representation? I took a screenshot of both graphics, you can find them on the official website of the respective models under the section “Technique”. This reminds me strongly of the deception of VW (and also some other manufacturers if I am not mistaken), the shorthand simple, in addition to the worst efficiency class G, a In the meantime, you really have to look very carefully at the car purchase… What do you think about it?
