*battery charger defective* signal

Hello guys, have already discovered some *battery chargers defective* forum posts, only since I was already with two electricians and got contradictory statements, here in the round: The extremely friendly dealer, from which I bought the good vehicle, had agreed to install me a Carplay Android radio, if I get one. Said, done, had ordered one and he built it for me, without the return camera, it just plugged in. It seems d abei a mistake to have happened, or the radio itself is defective, because I hear a smell of burnt plastic in the car after the next time I get on and when the engine is switched on the message *battery charger defective*. I removed the radio and the smell came from the radio itself. The original was re-installed, code entered. The message *battery charger defective* does not go away any more, the voltage on the LiMa and on the battery was measured At the first workshop it was said that the alternator was weakened and had to be replaced (13.5 instead of 14 V voltage), in the second workshop nothing could be determined that LiMa was fine and the battery as well. I did not notice any weakened electronics, weak light or weak current at the start or anything else, everything runs quite normal. Just don’t get rid of the message, it is also not read OBD2 as error code… and an idea, what to do? I’m slowly despairing, thank you so much to the model: Renault Espace IV 2006 2.0T Petroler 170PS
