Dear automotive experts, I would like to buy a used mid-range combi for up to about 10,000 EUR. Two brands are left over from all research and are now available for choice:Ford Mondeo (Mk3 or Mk4)Volvo V70 or XC70 I know that it will be difficult, but I am not interested in so much personal preferences as rather tangible facts and arguments pro and contra the respective cars. I start with a few arguments and would like to ask you, on the one hand, your experiences ode r other vehicle to supplement:PRO MONDEO – a lot of equipment for money – plenty of space, large load volume – tend to be cheaper than Volvo – spare parts / repairs tend to be cheaper (third party parts etc.)PRO V70/XC70 – better breakdown statistics, is considered long-lasting (since about BJ 2006 still valid?) – looks more individual – my gut feeling is currently more towards especially XC70 … Thanks for your help!
