He also recently mounted the wheels with winter tires, apparently without any problems. But now he has found that the specifications of the rims differ from those in the vehicle papers. In the papers the following tyres/wheels are listed: 175/65 R14 82 QM+S 5.5JX14H2O37.5 175/65 R14 82 S 5.5JX14H2O37.5 195/45 R16 80 S 6.5JX16H2O41.5 19 5/60 R15 88 S 6JX15H2O47.5 Winter bikes have the following information: 175/70 R14 84 T 5.5JX14H2ET39 I guess the tyre fits itself. But is this a problem at all, that the press-in depth of the rim is 1.5 mm more than the specified 37.5 mm – is it smaller than the possible 41.5 bzb. 47,5 mm? Is this technically permissible or can a damage occur here? Just because he has not noticed any problems (will look even more closely), I don’t know what to advise him. technical is not a problem, so is the approval allowed to mount different wheels in this way? Or would in this case have to have some kind of test report or would it have to be approved by the TÜV? Thank you
