Evening first people, First here the data and information about my car: Brand: Alfa Romeo 145 BJ: 1998 Engine: 1.8 TS 140PS KM: 122.000km In 2013 the vehicle was rebuilt, engine overhauled and also completely re-lacquered with Flip Flop paint…everything was done by a private car dealer. Now to my problem, on Sunday 07.07.17 I drove a grandpa into my car when I parked out…of course nothing else happened with him but everything was pressed in behind the driver’s door. Vehicle can drive normally and still has no impairments, but the damage is nevertheless extremely annoying and bothers me totally. He reported the damage to his insurance which I also did (he did due Huk Coburg). They sent me to a contract workshop where I should take a cost estimate of the damage + photos….an expert report is not necessary. Today I also drove there (maybe already a mistake??), there everything was taken again u and photos of the damage were taken. It was also noted that my drive was rebuilt + the flip flop paint. Now the opposing insurance called me and suddenly wants to send me a report of the damage in this respect now an expert of those… exactly here my alarm bells have jumped now because I had read after a bit browse on the Internet that many insurances do the same and often then the report in favor of the insurance fails. therefore now is me a question…how do I have to proceed correctly? Can I now drive to another workshop and get an estimate or am I now bound to the contract workshop because I was already with them? (no data was recorded yet). Can I also take a neutral expert or do I have to make an appointment with their reviewer? he wants to call tomorrow because of an appointment for a visit….what do I tell him then? How about the r Even if the car has already been on the hump for a few years..cann’t it be that I’m now being fed with a few 100€ just because their reviewer probably wants to push the price. If I’m really very unfair that I’m still being punished for the stupidity of others. Sorry for asking maybe stupid, but never had an accident. P.S. here’s a photo of the damage:
