Car damaged from falling ice sheets from truck…nun 2 ask

Since I have already asked the question in the VW forum and I was referred to the experts from the insurance forum… I set the same again here: ————————————————————————————————— MoinMoin! Yesterday a truck approaching the motorway lost a lot of ice and ice sheets from its trailer, which of course all rained on my beautiful passi. The result: scratches, a dent and broken paint on Motorha ube, bumper and left fender as well as a broken windshield. Thank God I could remember the registration number of the trailer, because he did not stop of course. Through the police I could then find out the holder and have already made contact with him and his insurance, everything seems to run very reasonable so far. I should send an estimate of the cost of my car house to the insurance company and take over a car rental which due to the age of the vehicle my question now is whether there has been a loss of value on my pass (just under 2 years young, 53,000 km) due to the repair (browsing, painting of the bonnet, shock rod and fender) and the replacement of the windscreen? If yes, how do I expect it, because I want to have it back from the insurance in the context of the loss of value. Many greetings Tobi
