Hello guys, I drive a Heritage Softail Evo Bj. 96. has run about 37tkm. I have the problem that when changing the load, so when switching and when you go rough from the gas, it sounds like if the clutch would slip short. But the clutch does not slip through, without problems and without power losses I can drive 160km/h. But I still installed new lamellas. Didn’t do anything. During the further test, the primary chain, starting rear silencer and clutch rack was beaten. These were damaged because the chain was not tight enough. This would also be renewed. Also the bearing of the primary box was renewed. At the front Pulley everything is ok. What’s still striking is that at the first start, switching in the 2nd gear is very difficult. Only after the first 300-500 m it can be switched. At the work we noticed that the clutch rod in the main shaft was rusty, we made it clean, greased and installed again. Now bin ic My screwdriver said that could be the gearbox. But that’s just a guess. He meant it could have broken the spring. What I still suspect is that I have installed new rims on me. But I didn’t control the escape of the belt. I’m not sure if the belt has to be moved more outwards. Can’t imagine, however, that the belt only causes such noises when changing loads or taking away gas. What could it be?
