Cold or warm?

At the end of the year the oil changes are coming up again. I always make the trouble and drive the car warm before I drain the oils. With the engine oil this is certainly also very useful. However, with my Fat Boy Evo I have to dismantle the exhaust to get to the exhaust screw of the transmission oil. Therefore I ask myself whether it is really necessary with the primary oil and transmission oil. The drain screws are in both cases down, maybe it takes time in the cold condition only longer. In a workshop this certainly won’t matter either. Or?
