Inspired by my wife we borrowed the XC70 D5 MJ 2005 from the friendly Volvo dealer (are otherwise satisfied V70 2.4, 170 HP owners) Conclusion: Great car, great engine, 6-speed transmission also pleasant and and and …. a b e r : The seats! In our V70 we have the sports seats and I mean: no comparison! After my wife after an accident quite a Hüe The result was: sports seats: no problems – seats XC 70: after 1 hour at least an unpleasant feeling. I asked the friendly person in advance and by e-mail at Volvo-Germany if the sports seats are also available in the XC70 – information negative. Reason: Dealer does not know, Volvo Germany: Seats are part of the vehicle safety and not easy to replace. Now my question to the virtually assembled experts: Is a possibility known, the sports Is the V70 in the xc70 to “transplant” or are there back-friendly alternatives with side support?
