Focal FPP4100 sounds soft/quiet

Hello together! I got a Focal FPP4100 amplifier a few days ago on ebay. The new price is 300 – 320 Euro, I used my 220 incl. shipping and warranty, a bargain so. I put it at home test times on a car battery and hung 2 Denon speakers (not the best, but quite ok). These are 2 way speakers with integrated switch. The sound was very pale, noisy and lean, also the volume left to be desired. e respectively channel 1 + 2 and 3 + 4 tries, even in the brittle state no improvement. The volume control at the power stage did not work either. Anyway, I thought that the voltage of the car battery (11.8V) would not be enough, so I put the whole time in the car, and used the car battery. Unfortunately, neither with running engine nor with switched off ignition showed an improvement. Noise, duller and leaner sounded, generally not what one would expect. At the auto-L I couldn’t test the whole thing myself. I already contacted the salesman, who is accommodating so far and he said he would agree with focal. He also asked me if the LED on the top side of the amplifier “green” lights up when it plays. Well, I was stunned, if I hang the amplifier on the battery, the LED lights up 1 – 2 seconds red/orange and then white. I have never seen green, even on the Internet or in the guide can be found so my question: Does someone have this amplifier (or another one from the series) and can tell me if there is something green light? Or does someone know this problem and white help? Did the amplifier also have open, so far I could not notice any corruption or anything. Also all cables are stuck. Since I do not have any real power cables, (to ensure sufficient cross-section) start cables were used. I know, not the fine kind, but for testing it would have been even after 5 minutes play, the amplifier remained completely cold, not handwarm, even nothing. Since it is a Class-AB amplifier, it should become a bit warm even at low output power.
