Moin people If you have a little driven second car, you don’t want to change the tires every six months. Now I wonder what’s better: Should you drive with all-weather tyres or winter tyres all year round? What I know is that the wear of winter tyres is higher in summer. What I also know is that winter tyres offer more safety than all-weather tyres in winter. And what I also know is that winter tyres often have worse characteristics in rain than summer riding. I don’t know how the all-weather tires behave here. Still on our situation: We currently have aluminium rims with worn out summer tires and steel rims with good winter tires. So it would be easier for us to pull the winter tires on the aluminiums now than to sell the winter tires and buy all-weather tires for the aluminiums. The question is: What would make sense in our situation now? I’m looking forward to your opinions. Greetings, E.T.chen
