Hello all! I have an R 320CDI 4-Matic Lang EZ. 09/2008 with meanwhile 250tkm. Unfortunately, now obviously a gearbox is causing problems. But the automatic transmission does not seem to be, because switching operations are impeccable. Actually only 3 transmissions (distributor gearbox, front or rear differential) remain. I exclude the rear differential at first, since the noises come from the front. Is there a way to determine if it is more the distribution gearbox t or could be the differential without having to disassemble/extend everything? In which driving conditions (accelerate, bend, accelerate straight ahead, start/accelerate curves) is it more likely which of the two gears it could be? Or is there anyone in the Darmstadt area who could help/hear that?
