Hi, because of construction sites, I have to take a different work path and drive through a small town. The roads are not very flat there and therefore I would best reduce my tyre pressure. I drive a VW Fox with the standard tyres 165/70 R14 and have V 2.1 and H 2.0 bar on it so the pressure according to manufacturer specifications +0.1 more. Mainly I drive max. 100km/h over short sections. The Fox is clearly not a comfort vehicle, but this track is heavy. I would like to try an underrun of 0.1 bar to 1.9 and 1.8 under the manufacturer’s specifications. At 0.2 you say that the fuel consumption should go up and the tires start to suffer from it. The vehicle is empty and will transport 97% only me. So in short: Fox about a little over 1 ton of weight and tire pressure by 0.1 bar under information. Can you do it, or rather leave it and endure it?
