Hello, in another thread we had come to the conclusion that the tank volume specified by Toyota is a rather theoretical value and in practice after 45 – 50 liters the yellow tank warning lamp concerns. Since the RAV4 year 2014 according to operating instructions has a manual tank ventilation pump, today I have taken a long way ahead: residual kilometers: 23 km lt. display with driven 730 km. At 7,0 liters of throughput consumption are then still just 2 liters in the tank. Refueled: 49.6 liters Range after full tanking: 730 km. Means: approx. 51 liters available. At fuel monitor I have keyed RAV4 diesel from year 2013 and found 8 vehicles, which have more than 20 times fuelled, a total of 320 refuellings. Most of the tanks have between 35 and 45 liters. Of the 8 vehicles the maximum tank quantity was approx. 45 liters, 3 vehicles approx. 50 liters. No one has fuelled more than 51 liters. The claim that the tank actually in practice In my opinion, vehicles that have once filled 55 or 57 litres would have to show up. However, this is not to be seen in the further corridor. Greetings
