Hello, this is my first post, so please forgive me for any duplications. However, I could not find any on this topic and am dependent on experience values. I would like to paint the exhaust panels on my Kia ProCeed GT black and dismantle them for processing. Are the apertures glued or plugged? Would not like to dismantle the whole tail and would be very grateful for your experiences. In addition, I would be interested to know if anyone has experiences with deck collar t on the aperture (fg. Chrome), has long-term testing or preparatory work. Would the chrome naturally clean, sand and degrease for maximum adhesion. For safety I use heat-resistant spray paint especially for the exhaust, even if the aperture has not become really hot even during longer trips up to now. Thank you in advance for your feedback!
