Today I noticed the following, in my post here: Recently (?) the forum seems to generate paragraphs if you enter a line feed. Or, if the paragraphs were already there before, an additional line spacing is generated when you change the paragraph. If you enter a whole blank line in the editor now, the post is formatted with really a lot of space between the paragraphs (see Appendix). In most posts it would be enough, just no blank line one utype, as in this example now. So between “formatted.” and “in most posts” is a line feed, but not a blank line. Sometimes, however, you have to format things in a way that makes it understandable. The example I linked above is about how certain sensor values fit together (or don’t fit together in this case). I have to do a line feed because I want to use one line per sensor value, but actually these are no paragraphs in the sense of a long text. I have already tried, as in the LibreOffice or Word, Ctrl+Enter to type in to mark the difference between paragraph change and pure line feed, but that doesn’t seem to work. I think that with these additional line spacings during paragraph change suddenly strange-looking posts arise. At least then it would be necessary to expand the editor too, so that you can formatia pure line previews vs. real paragraph change In addition, the editor should already display the larger line spacings when changing the paragraph.
