Hello, I’m new here and I’m glad that I found an internet site where there is a lot of discussion. But I also get in touch because I have a problem… and I hope that already CLK drivers can help with experience. For 2 months I have been driving a CLK 200 Elegance Bj. 11/97. The CLK is a really nice car, I’m in love with it. But, he clatters !! With already slight road bumps comes from the front right a real flapper noise, it sounds as if z .B. the shock absorber would be loose and wiggles back and forth and hits. Or, if the sound comes from behind, as if the hat rack is racing…. Of course, this is hard to describe… But the shock absorber is not, both shock absorbers have already been changed. Two different MB contract workshops were baffled. Everyone hears it, but no master of MB knows where to locate the flapping…. Now I have heard of someone who bought a new CLK in 1997 and also a After 3 months he sold the CLK again… (No, I did not buy the car ! hehe) Someone can help me and already has experiences in this direction, I would be really grateful. Many greetings to all SLK and CLK ́ ER !! Jürgen Uhlig
