Hello! I have a new C4 with 110 HDI PDF engine. For this, according to the maintenance booklet page 22 three PSA Peugeot Citroen standards are allowed: 1. The PSA standard B71 2294 (e.g. Total Quartz 7000 10W-40) 2. The PSA standard B71 2296 (e.g. Total Quartz 9000 5W-40) 3. The PSA standard B71 2290 (e.g. Total Quartz Ineo ECS) In the note is No. 3, it has the ACEA specification C2 and the SAE class 5W-30, called low-pollutant and fuel-saving and is absolutely recommended for vehicles with particulate filters. My question: What about the other two oils? Do they also have an ACEA C2 qualification, which should protect the soot particle filter? In addition, I wonder why the Total Quartz Energy 0W-30 should not be allowed, although it has the same PSA standard B71 2296 as No. 2?
