Question to Combo owner to distance tempomat with automatic transmission

Hello together, as a non-Opel driver, but who supports his parents in looking for a new car at retirement age, I would have a few questions about the Combo distance tempomat in connection with automatic. Perhaps immediately to clarify: the parents can still run without problems and drive a car, but want a little relief during a longer motorway ride; especially if they get into one of the frequent traffic jams. In the instruction manual to the Combo it says that the cruise control automatically up to z If the front man doesn’t start after “longer” time, you have to speed up over 30 km/h again by gas foot, so that the distance tempomat can work again. What is “longer time”, 5 sec, 30 sec? How annoying can such a thing become in the traffic jam? I imagine it funny, because in the traffic jam you often don’t get over 30 km/h, then the system is actually useless? From my ACC (with automatic) from the VW group (Skoda) know I have to pull the lever from the cruise control after 3 seconds, and it goes on. Together with the lane holding assistant (which can also drive in the lane for the rescue lane) I can drive through a traffic jam without any problems, without having to step on the gas or brake. What I like about Opel is the transfer of a speed limit into the cruise control. My Skoda didn’t do that (I’ve already seen it at Audi). At the Opel I have here in the forum but sc What are your experiences? And the last question: Opel seems to have only one camera system in the windshield, not like others combined with radar sensors. How does the system behave in the case of rain, snow, (light) fog or at night? Maybe there is one more question about the track assistant: Had a crossland to rent, the thing warned me that I would come across the sideline, if I had read that this is a bad thing in practice, because the detection is much too sluggish. But I let them ride mercilessly into the ditch. Did I still have a “spurwarn assistant” at that time, so can I assume that trackhold assistant will do justice to his name and he will actually keep me on the trail? Thank you for your answers! Greetings, Andy
