Hello! Today, because of my still not permanently localized oil scraper problem, I made the covering of the timing belt and for this purpose also removed the wedge-rib belt. At one point I noticed an almost perfect cut exactly across the direction of the KRR, see picture. Now the question arises to me: Is this normal or is it a damage? The strap was removed three times in the 10 years of its life and certainly never snapped But since the belt – as can be seen in the picture – also has many small cracks (fatigue symptoms stop..), I ordered a new one today as a precaution. Nevertheless, I would be interested in what this cut has to do with it. Greetings, Rainer
