Insurance case?

Hello, yesterday afternoon, a vehicle driving in front of me on the A2 threw out an object that I could not see exactly (but because of the light reflections would tap on a CD, distance approx. 100m, speed 138km/h cruise control) out of the window. This one was split in front of me on the road and I drove over it shortly afterwards (no way to react). I heard the hits of the “splitter” in the front and on the underfloor. About half an hour later sat Then the air conditioning out and only warm air came out of the ventilation. Just at the check in the workshop it was already established that there is no residual cooling agent in the system. Since there is this “weak spot” with the climate condensator, which should also be susceptible to rockfalls, I suspect that fragments have caused damage there. However, nothing can be seen purely optically. Now the system is currently filled with refrigerant and constraint agent. If a greater damage had been caused by the “vandalism” of the previously moving FZG (blue Corsa C, ca. 16.50 Hildesheim –> Hannover), would this fall within the range of a partial or comprehensive or are such damages not covered? I am aware that there may be differences in coverage in various contracts, but perhaps this is a case in which one can say it in general. Thank you for possible information.
