The following requirements should meet the car. – Halfway safe. Names at least. Driver airbag, ABS and a stable body. – Automatic (make the car more expensive is clear to me) – It should not fall apart directly after purchase. Rust and other defects., unless problematic with the TÜV and secure It’s not so important, but it wouldn’t be so dramatic. – It’s as cheap as possible. Consumption is not sooo important. Rather insurance, taxes and if there’s anything like repair costs. And, of course, purchase price. Everything else doesn’t matter.
